Paladin 525
Paladin 525 – 5.25” Crankbait
Fast. Flashy. Built to cover water.
At 5.25 inches, it carries the same bold, Danny-style body as the Rogue, that long, tapered silhouette that pushes water and turns heads. But swap in a Pikie-style lip and everything changes. The action becomes a cross between the two classics: Danny's wider, rolling flash up top, tempered by the Pikie's tight side-to-side wobble down low. Because the head profile stays Danny-style, it doesn't dive like a true Pikie; it stays higher in the water column, working the zone where predators are looking up.
That's not a compromise. That's a weapon.
The stainless steel lip is what gives the Paladin its roll. Paired with the Danny-style head, the lip creates a lure that flashes its sides on a faster retrieve without blowing out. You can burn it through open water, crawl it along a grass edge, or let it hang at the top of the column while something below makes up its mind.
The body is hand-turned from cedar, buoyant, responsive, and sealed beneath a rock-hard epoxy finish. Stainless through-wire construction, so whatever hits it doesn't win.
What sets the Paladin 525 apart:
- Danny-style body profile with a Pikie-style lip, shallower dive, more roll, more flash
- Tight wiggle with exaggerated side flash on faster retrieves
- Stays high in the water column, built for shoreline predators and upper-column bites
- Stainless steel lip
- Through-wire stainless construction
- Hand-turned cedar body
- Hand-painted, epoxy-sealed finish
Fishes best when:
- You're covering water fast
- Fish are chasing, and you need flash
- The bite is happening near the surface or along the edge
- You want something more precise than what came off an assembly line
If the Rogue 525 is a bruiser, the Paladin 525 is a blade. Sharp, fast, and built to run.
Handmade. Small batch. Built for anglers who fish with intent.
